Spektrum STX3 3-Channel 2.4 GHz FHSS Radio System

Want to upgrade your RTR radio system but don’t want to break the bank? Seems reasonable, and lucky for you Spektrum has a system that looks to be perfect for that task. The Spektrum STX3 isn’t loaded with every single adjustment imaginable, multi-model memory and a LCD screen. What it does have are three channels, a waterproof receiver, 2.4 GHz technology and a price tag under $50. Yes, under $50.

It might not look incredibly fancy, but unlike many RTR transmitters, the STX3 has a comfortable foam wheel. The third channel is controlled with proportional 2-, 3- and 4-position controls, which makes it easy to setup for lights, winches, rear steer and more.

Don’t get it. It works fine, but when you’re around other 2.4ghz transmitters you get nasty inputlag on both steering as throttle.
I got this as a replacement for the stx2 and it was fine on the lonely testdrive.
But later I went for a drive with a friend, and the lagproblem was back. When he turned his transmitter off, problems where gone.

I suggest everyone just ignore the stx-line.
