Axial Capra 1.9 Unlimited Trail 4WD Buggy RTR

That didn’t take long. Axial’s new Capra crawler is now offered in a RTR version. Of course, that means fully assembled with installed electronics. If you live under a rock, instead of crawl over them, you can check out the originally released Capra kit here.

So, besides being built for you, the RTR Capra includes a Spekrum STX3 3-channel radio system. The speed control is the Dynamite AE-5L, which includes an IC3 battery connector and powers a Dynamite 35-turn brushed motor. Dig function is handled by a Spektrum SX107 micro metal-gear servo, while a Spektrum S614 axle-mounted servo is tasked for steering. The latter delivers 201 oz.-in. of torque, which is plenty for a 1.9 rig.

You might remember the Capra kit doesn’t include tires. The RTR does, of course, and they are Axial Nitto Trail Grappler tires in the S30 compound. The Grapplers are 4.7 in. tall.

The Axial Capra RTR is available in red and green.

    Hey Matt,

No doubt that is great writing, I’m a big fan of RC rock crawling, I have gone through entirely and each words, it a great writing skill. Sometimes I was thinking to get over, but due to heavy working schedule I can not.

By the way, can I know where you create the video?
