STRC Axial Wraith Monster Truck Izilla Chassis Conversion

STRC has clearly been watching the scale monster truck scene explode and become bigger than it’s been in a long time. I’m not talking about the 80’s classics here; the new breed of monster trucks that are being built today are a mixed bunch of custom builds, and one of the top brands people are […]

DROMIDA MT4.18 RTR Long-Term Test

If you ask most people who have 1/10-scale or larger RC vehicles how they feel about mini 1/18-scale vehicles and they might be wondering what’s the point? I admit that I was one of those individuals–until recently. I’ve never really been a fan of driving anything smaller than 1/10 scale, but once I got my hands on the […]

Pro-line Racing Destroyer 2.6″ Monster Truck Tire Review

Pro-line Racing Destroyer 2.6″ Monster Truck Tire Review

When it comes to performance, nothing is as critical as tires. We tend to harp on this subject because it’s true and too important to risk being under appreciated. Take, for example, the 2015 No Limit R/C World Finals. Lack of traction. That was how the track was being described. Event goers weren’t talking to […]

Integy 8 Spoke AQ Style 1.9 Alloy Beadlock Wheels & All Terrain Tires Type IV Review

When it comes to wheels and tires for any RC, the choices you have are almost endless. Even when you break it down to the size by category that came stock with any RC vehicle, you can still find yourself overwhelmed. I’ve always believed that no matter how good or bad a RC body looks, […]

Pro-Line Racing 2014 Chevrolet Silverado Body Review

The Chevrolet Silverado is a popular full-size pickup truck manufactured by General Motors. It was introduced in 1998 as the successor to the Chevrolet C/K line. In the RC hobby, where a lot of people like to build miniature versions of what they own as a full-size truck, or wish they owned, we have had […]

STRC Carbon-Steel Universal Center Driveshaft Kit for Axial Wraith Review

If you have upgraded the motor in your Axial Wraith you may have come across the “pretzel effect.” You know; it’s what your stock drive shafts look like after too much power and tough terrain come together. It’s not a pretty sight. If this has happened to you, it’s time to upgrade those driveshafts to […]

Axial Yeti RTR Rock Racer

Axial Yeti RTR Rock Racer

This is a big deal. It’s not a whole new invention, but it’s still a major release. The Yeti is what a few people have been fabricating on their own and what a whole lot more people have wanted. The Yeti is Axial’s production version of what most refer to as the “Wrexo”—as in Wraith […]

STRC CNC Machined Aluminum Diff Covers Version 2 for Axial AR60 Axles Review

STRC CNC Machined Aluminum Diff Covers Version 2 for Axial AR60 Axles Review

Axial’s AR60 axles are becoming increasingly popular as they are found as factory equipment on Axial’s Wraith and AX10 Deadbolt models and also hundreds of custom rigs out there. They are great axles, picked usually because they’re wide, but axles tend to get lost in the project. This also happens in the full-size world and is […]

Axial SCX10 Deadbolt RTR

Axial SCX10 Deadbolt RTR

This one is kind of a no brainer in our book. The Deadbolt body was an instant hit on the AX10, so we’re not too surprised to see that it has taken a leap from the AX10 chassis and landed on the SCX10 chassis. The body is now green, which we find quite fitting because green is […]
