It appears that Hot Bodies (division of HPI) is about to unveil a motor-on-axle rock crawler at the Nuremberg Toy Fair. The crawler shown may be a prototype or it may be close to production. Hot Bodies (HB) states the suspension uses a 3-link design, aluminum threaded shocks and has adjustable shock mounts. The axles are low-profile for maximized clearance and the motors are protected by skid plates. The chassis features wire guides and a completely smooth center skid plate. HB Sedona 2.2 tires are included with HPI Rock 8 beadlock rims. The steering is a zero Ackerman design and the wheel hubs are designed to accept weights.
