Truck of the Week: 4/22/2012 Axial SCX10 “Nomadder”

This custom creation is the handy work of Matthew Lane. We know Matt from one of our favorite Groups on Facebook, Left Coast R/C. Matt explains that the “Nomadder Road Trip” is an Axial SCX10 based ’56 Chevy Nomad crawler. An RC4wd winch sits up up front on custom made bumper. Traxxas T-Maxx shocks are used to lift the truck up and clear Pro-Line 2.2 Dirt Hawg tires. Scale items include a Mike Faehnrich made spare tire cover on back and a scratch built brass roof rack with hand made “Aligator” leather vintage luggage up top. The cool Nomad body is attached with custom made brass body mounts.

  4. Yes, what body is that. I like it and it would be very unique around here. Everyone runs Jeep or Toyota bodies. I’m looking for something cool like this that isn’t a truck.
