Tip of the Week: 8/5/2012 Easier Paint Designs

It’s a pretty common practice to use a black Sharpie or similar permanent marker to draw a paint scheme on the outside of a body to use as a guide when trimming mask and painting. Take advantage of the fact that Sharpie has expanded their line of markers in both terms of tip types and, even better, colors. Get a variety of colored markers and use them to draw your design. Of course, you don’t have to color the whole thing in, but using different colors will allow you to get a much better idea of how a paint scheme will look and provide a better visual when cutting mask and painting.
