Tip of the Week: 8/26/2012 Body Repair

A good number of frugal veteran RC’ers may be familiar with this tip already, but it is still very much worth sharing–especially with the popularity of short course racing. When a body cracks (and short course bodies love to crack), take a small piece of drywall joint tape and secure it to the inside of the body with a liberal amount of silicone glue or Shoe GOO. The combination of the tape and glue will make for an extremely secure repair.

  1. Excellent tip – this works great and helps extend the life of a body considerably.

It also works good to reinforce known weak points on a new body as well.
