The 2019 ROAR 1/10-scale electric Nationals just took place at EN Hobbies in Columbus, Ohio. Factory driver Spencer Rivkin took the TQ and win in the 2WD Modified Buggy class. Using an Associated B6.1DL, he won the triple A-main format by taking down the wins in A2 and A3. Rivkin is a repeat and defending champion in that class. He also conquered the 2WD Modified Short Course class with a Associated SC6.1. While this was his first nation championship in this class, it is Associated’s tenth in a row. In fact, no other brand of short course truck has won the 2WD modified short course class.
Privateer (for now) Dreighton Stoub won the 2WD 17.5 Buggy class with an Associated B6.1FL, and he also TQed and won the 13.5 4WD Buggy class with a borrowed B64. This makes four for Associated at the 2019 ROAR Electric National Championship.
