Yeah Racing Aluminum Hop-ups for Traxxas 4-Tec

We don’t feature too much on-road RC, but I can’t think of a platform that made as big of an improvement going from one version to the next than the Traxxas 4-Tec. Traxxas legitimately could have gone right to 5.0 when it redid the 4-Tec. The 2.0 is lightyears ahead of the original. With a completely redesigned suspension, drivetrain, and chassis, the Traxxas 4-Tec 2.0 is a solid pavement pounder and Yeah Racing is looking to make it even better with a release of a collection new aluminum hop-ups.

Since the stock motor plate is plastic, Yeah Racing’s aluminum motor mount is a great, almost must-have upgrade. Going aluminum here will help with motor cooling and the machined aluminum is far more rigid than stock. The motor plate setup is anodized blue with laser-etched markings.

Front and rear aluminum shock towers are offered in black and blue. Providing more tuning options, the Yeah Racing aluminum shock towers increase the upper shock mount locations from two to five.

Front steering knuckles will add a lot of durability up front and may technically even improve steering responsiveness due to the aluminum being more rigid than molded plastic, but that probably wouldn’t be noticeable. The same is true for the previously mentioned shock towers. These are also available in black and blue.

While strictly cosmetic, Yeah Racing also has aluminum disc brake rotors to dress up your 4-Tec and had some scale realism.
