RPM has a new skid plate set for the Losi Tenacity platform. These fit both the molded and aluminum chassis options. RPM states that it learned the area located just behind the front bulkhead mounting screws is a common point of breakage. By tying together the four bulkhead mounting screws with the two screws holding the steering mounting posts in place, RPM says it has increased the strength and durability of the entire front end of the chassis, helping to reduce that pesky breakage problem while adding some much needed abrasion resistance to the chassis.
Like the front, the rear skid plate adds abrasion and wear protection. RPM adds that you’ll also encounter less build-up of dirt and debris between the chassis and the lower rear bumper mount since its rear skid plate sits lower than the bumper mount.
RPM also notes that these skid plates fit the short course version (Tenacity-SCT), truggy version (Tenacity-T) and desett buggy version (Tenacity-DB), but are not for use of the monster truck version (Tenacity-MT). The RPM skid plates are made in the U.S. from RPM’s custom nylon blend.
