What Is the Process of Car RC Transfer?

The process of car RC transfer is a legal procedure that is necessary when an owner of a vehicle wants to transfer the ownership rights of the vehicle to someone else. This process can be initiated either when selling a vehicle or when gifting it to someone.

It is important to understand the process in order to ensure that the transaction is done correctly and in accordance with the law.

The first step in the process is to fill out Form 29 and Form 30, which are available at RTOs or online. These forms must be filled out accurately and completely with details such as the name of the seller, buyer, registration number, chassis number, engine number, etc. Once these forms are filled out, they must be submitted along with supporting documents such as valid ID proof, residence proof and PUC certificate.

Once these documents are submitted, the RTO will verify them for accuracy and authenticity. If all documents are found to be valid, then a payment needs to be made for transferring the RC from one person’s name to another. This payment amount varies from state to state and depends on factors such as type of vehicle and its age.

Once all papers have been verified and payment has been made, then both parties need to go to RTO office for signing Form 29 and Form 30. This step marks the completion of RC transfer process.

Conclusion:
The process of car RC transfer involves filling out Form 29 & 30 along with submitting supporting documents like valid ID proof & residence proof followed by making payment for transferring RC from one person’s name to another after which both parties need to go for signing Form 29 & 30 at RTO office in order for the transfer process to complete successfully.
