Does Hyundai Make a Pickup Truck?

Hyundai is a South Korean automotive manufacturer that has been selling cars, vans, and SUVs in the United States since 1986. While they offer a wide range of vehicles, they do not currently make a pickup truck. However, there have been rumors that Hyundai may be developing one for the future.

Hyundai has been expanding their lineup of vehicles in recent years. They’ve added several new crossover SUVs such as the Santa Fe and Palisade.

They’ve also brought back the Kona Electric for those looking for an affordable electric car option. But despite these additions, there’s still no sign of a pickup truck from Hyundai.

The lack of a pickup truck is surprising considering how popular they have become in recent years. Nearly every major automaker offers at least one model, from Ford’s F-150 to Toyota’s Tacoma. Even luxury automakers like Mercedes-Benz and BMW offer pickups for those who want something more upscale.

So why doesn’t Hyundai make a pickup truck? It could be because they don’t want to compete directly with their sister company Kia, which offers its own midsize pickup truck called the Kia Sorento. Another possibility is that Hyundai may be waiting to see if there is enough demand before they commit to developing one.

Rumors have circulated that Hyundai could be planning to introduce a pickup truck in the near future. In 2019, patent images were published showing what appeared to be a mid-size Hyundai pickup with an athletic design. Whether this will come to fruition remains to be seen.

Conclusion:

In conclusion, Hyundai does not currently make a pickup truck but there have been rumors that one could be in the works for the future. Until then, buyers looking for an affordable midsize or full-size truck will have to look elsewhere.
