Does Kia or Hyundai Have a Pickup Truck?

Kia and Hyundai are two popular South Korean automakers, but do they offer pickup trucks? The answer is yes and no.

Kia does not currently offer a pickup truck, but they have plans to launch one in the near future. The Kia Pickup Truck is expected to launch sometime in 2021 and will be based on the Hyundai Santa Cruz compact crossover. It will feature a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, an eight-speed automatic transmission, and all-wheel drive as standard.

Hyundai does have a pickup truck in its lineup. The Hyundai Santa Cruz is a midsize pickup with a unibody design that was launched in 2020.

It’s powered by a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that produces up to 275 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive as standard. It also features plenty of modern tech features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, blind spot monitoring, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, and more.

Conclusion: Kia does not currently offer a pickup truck but plans to launch one soon while Hyundai already has the Santa Cruz midsize pickup available for purchase.
