Does Peugeot Make a Pickup Truck?

Peugeot is a French car manufacturer that has been in the auto market since 1810. Originally known for making luxury cars and luxury SUVs, Peugeot has expanded its production to include a wide variety of vehicles, ranging from the small 107 to the luxurious 508. Although the company has a rich history of producing cars and SUVs, they do not currently manufacture any pickup trucks.

In recent years, there have been reports of Peugeot exploring the possibility of producing a pickup truck. The rumours began circulating in 2018 when Peugeot teased an image of what could potentially be their first pickup truck.

The teaser photo showed a large four-door vehicle with an open cargo bed and it caused quite a stir on social media. However, despite these rumours, no official announcement was made by Peugeot and the company has yet to produce any pickups.

Peugeot does not appear to be in any rush to produce pickups either, as they are currently focusing their efforts on expanding their SUV lineup instead. In 2019 they unveiled their 5008 SUV which boasts an impressive array of features including an 8-speed automatic transmission and adaptive cruise control with lane keeping technology. They also have plans to launch several new SUVs over the next few years including an all-electric version of their popular 3008 model.

It seems unlikely that Peugeot will be entering the pickup truck market anytime soon as they are focusing on expanding their SUV lineup instead. However, with rising demand for pickups in Europe, it is possible that this could change in the future if the company decides to make such a move.

Conclusion:

At this time, it looks like Peugeot does not make any pickup trucks but there have been reports that they may explore this possibility in the future. For now though, they seem focused on expanding their SUV lineup instead and introducing new electric vehicles into their ever-growing range of cars and SUVs.
