Does Subaru Make a Full Size Pickup Truck?

Subaru is best known for producing all-wheel drive, small to midsize cars, but the Japanese automaker has long been a reliable manufacturer of pickup trucks. In fact, Subaru has a long history of producing vehicles with utility and practicality in mind. However, one question that many potential car buyers often have is whether Subaru makes a full-size pickup truck.

The answer to this question is both yes and no. While Subaru does not currently produce any full-size pickup trucks, it does produce what could be considered a mid-size pickup truck.

This is the Subaru Baja, which was released in 2003 and produced until 2006. The Baja had a unique design that combined the features of both an SUV and a pickup truck into one vehicle.

The Baja featured a four-door cab with seating for up to five passengers and had a cargo bed that was just over five feet long. It also came standard with all-wheel drive as well as an off-road suspension system. This made it suitable for light off-roading activities such as camping trips or hunting trips.

Despite its success, Subaru discontinued the Baja after just three years in production due to slow sales. Since then, the company has not produced any other pickups or large SUVs.

Conclusion:

So does Subaru make a full size pickup truck? The answer is no – though they did produce the Baja mid size pickup truck from 2003 to 2006 – they have not produced any pickups or large SUVs since then.
