How Many Boxes Can Fit in a Truck Bed?

Truck beds offer a variety of uses, including the ability to transport large items that could not otherwise fit in a car. But how many boxes can fit in a truck bed? It depends on the size of the boxes and the size of the truck bed.

The width and length of most truck beds range from about 50 inches to 80 inches wide and from 74 inches to 97 inches long.

A small truck bed is usually 6 feet long, whereas a full-size truck bed is 8 feet long. With this in mind, it’s possible to estimate how many boxes can fit into a truck bed.

For example, if you have small boxes that measure 18” x 12” x 8”, then it’s possible to fit around 4 boxes in a 6 foot-long truck bed, and around 7 boxes in an 8 foot-long one side by side. If you’re able to stack them two high – taking into account the space between each box – then it’s possible to fit up to 10 boxes in an 8 foot-long truck bed.

If you have larger boxes that measure 24” x 16” x 12”, then it’s possible to fit around 2 boxes in a 6 foot-long truck bed, and around 4 boxes in an 8 foot-long one side by side. Stacking them two high would allow for up to 6 larger boxes per 8 foot-long truck bed.

Conclusion:
In conclusion, the number of boxes that can fit into a truck bed varies depending on both the size of the box and the size of the truck bed. Generally speaking, it’s possible to fit up to 10 smaller boxes or 6 larger ones when stacking them two high in an 8 foot-long truck bed.
