Tesla is set to launch its latest venture, a full-sized electric pickup truck dubbed the Tesla Pickup Truck. The Tesla Pickup Truck is slated to be the first of its kind and has been in the works for some time now.
The vehicle is expected to have a range of up to 500 miles with a battery size of up to 200 kWh – making it one of the most powerful electric vehicles on the market.
Furthermore, Tesla has promised that their new pickup truck will have some impressive features, such as LED headlights and taillights, a panoramic glass roof, four-wheel drive capability, and a “cyberpunk” interior. Additionally, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has stated that the Tesla Pickup Truck will be able to tow up to 14,000 pounds – making it ideal for commercial use.
When it comes to pricing, Tesla has yet to announce an exact figure. However, Musk did state that the truck will cost less than $50,000 in order to make it more affordable for consumers. This means that the price tag could range anywhere between $35,000 and $50,000 depending on what features are included in each trim level.
The launch date for the Tesla Pickup Truck is still uncertain as well. However, Musk recently announced that he expects production of the vehicle will begin sometime in 2021. With so much hype surrounding this new vehicle from Tesla Motors it’s sure to be an exciting release when it finally does arrive.
