Is the BMW Pickup Truck Real?

BMW has been a top choice for luxury and performance vehicles for many years. However, recently there have been rumors of a BMW pickup truck. This begs the question: is the BMW pickup truck real?

The answer is yes and no. At the moment, BMW does not currently produce a pickup truck but there are plans to do so in the near future.

In 2018, BMW released concept images of a pickup truck at the Beijing Motor Show. The concept was dubbed “The X7 Pickup” and it was designed with luxury and performance in mind.

The X7 Pickup was designed as an off-road vehicle with four-wheel drive capabilities and a powerful V8 engine. It also featured an all-aluminum body that would provide excellent protection from corrosion while also being lightweight enough to improve fuel efficiency.

Unfortunately, the X7 Pickup was never put into production. BMW instead decided to focus their efforts on other projects such as electric vehicles and autonomous driving technology.

However, rumors of another BMW pickup truck have been circulating since 2019. This time it is rumored to be based on the company’s popular X5 SUV. If these rumors are true, then we could see a production version of this vehicle sometime in 2022.

Conclusion:

Is the BMW pickup truck real? Yes and no.

While there are currently no production models available, rumors indicate that one could be released sometime in 2022. Until then we can only speculate about what this potential new vehicle may offer consumers in terms of luxury and performance.
