What Happened to War Wizard Monster Truck?

War Wizard Monster Truck was an iconic vehicle that thrilled fans of monster truck shows for over twenty years. The truck, created by Tom Meents, was one of the most popular monster trucks of its era. It was known for its power and agility on the track, as well as its unique style.

The War Wizard Monster Truck was a crowd favorite at events across the United States and Canada. Meents’ driving skills made it a top contender in competition and fans flocked to watch it perform daring stunts. The truck’s impressive performance earned it a number of championships, including the National Monster Truck Racing Association (NMTRA) championship in 1996.

In addition to competing in monster truck events, War Wizard also made appearances at various NASCAR races and exhibitions. The truck was even featured in an episode of the television show “Monster Garage” in 2003.

The War Wizard Monster Truck retired from competition in 2007 after more than two decades on the track due to increasing costs associated with racing monster trucks and rising insurance premiums for drivers. Despite this, the legacy of War Wizard lives on through its fans who continue to remember and appreciate its accomplishments over the years.

Meents replaced War Wizard with his new creation, Maximum Destruction, which is still competing today. He also continues to offer entertainment through AutoRama shows at various locations around North America that feature several of his other creations like Bounty Hunter and Big Foot 4x4x4.
