What Serial Killer Drove a Semi Truck?

Serial killers are some of the most infamous criminals in history. They often operate in a clandestine manner and can be difficult to identify. However, there are a few cases where serial killers have been known to drive semi trucks for their murderous activities.

One of the most notorious serial killers who drove a semi truck was Gary Ridgway, also known as the “Green River Killer”. Ridgway was a long-haul truck driver and used his job to lure victims into his truck. He Targeted women and young girls, many of whom were prostitutes or runaway teens.

He murdered at least 49 people over two decades, but he claimed that he killed as many as 71 people along the highways of Washington state between 1982 and 1998.

Another well-known serial killer who drove a semi truck was Charles Ng. Ng was a Canadian-born drifter who hitchhiked around the United States in search of victims. He would eventually settle in California, where he worked as a delivery driver for a local bakery while also preying on vulnerable women and children. Ng is believed to have murdered at least 11 people between 1982 and 1985.

The most recent example of a serial killer who drove a semi truck is Robert Ben Rhoades, also known as “The Truck Stop Killer”. Rhoades was an over-the-road trucker who had been convicted of rape in 1972 and served three years in prison before going on to murder at least three people between 1989 and 1990 while roaming across the country in his big rig.

It’s been documented that several notorious serial killers have driven semi trucks during their criminal activities, such as Gary Ridgway, Charles Ng, and Robert Ben Rhoades. These individuals used their positions to gain access to vulnerable victims which they proceeded to murder during their travels across the country.
