Monster Truck is an American action comedy film released in 2016. It was written and directed by Chris Wedge and produced by Paramount Pictures. The film stars Lucas Till, Jane Levy, Amy Ryan, Rob Lowe, Danny Glover and Barry Pepper.
Set in a small town in the Midwest, Monster Truck follows the story of a teenage boy named Tripp (Lucas Till). He’s an outcast who dreams of leaving his hometown for something bigger and better.
One day he discovers a crashed alien spacecraft with an unusual creature inside it. After bonding with the creature, Tripp discovers that it has incredible strength and power, so he builds a monster truck using parts from junkyards to harness the creature’s power.
