Who Makes the Biggest Pickup Truck?

Pickup trucks have become more and more in demand as the years have gone by with customers desiring a versatile vehicle for both work and pleasure. With this growing demand, many automakers are now vying for the title of who makes the biggest pickup truck.

Ford is currently leading the way when it comes to large pickup trucks with their F-Series Super Duty lineup. The F-Series Super Duty is available in three different sizes; regular, long, and extended cab.

The regular cab model has a length of 240 inches, while the long cab model has a length of 250 inches, and the extended cab model has a length of 263 inches. All models feature a maximum payload capacity of 7,850 lbs and a towing capacity of up to 17,500 lbs.

Not far behind Ford is Ram with their Heavy Duty lineup. The Ram Heavy Duty is available in two different sizes; regular and long cab.

The regular cab model has a length of 243 inches while the long cab model has a length of 253 inches. Both models feature a maximum payload capacity of 7,680 lbs and a towing capacity of up to 18,210 lbs.

Chevrolet also offers their own large pickup truck with their Silverado HD lineup. The Silverado HD is available in two different sizes; regular and double cab.

The regular cab model has a length of 241 inches while the double cab model has a length of 250 inches. Both models feature a maximum payload capacity of 7,900 lbs and towing capacity up to 16,100 lbs.

Conclusion

It can be seen that all three automakers offer large pickup trucks that are capable of handling heavy loads and providing great towing capabilities. However, when it comes to size Ford’s F-Series Super Duty clearly stands out from its competitors as it offers the largest size option with its extended cab model at 263 inches long. Thus making it clear that Ford makes the biggest pickup truck on the market today.
