Is Bigfoot Monster Truck a Chevy?

Bigfoot Monster Truck is the original monster truck, created in 1975 by Bob Chandler. It was the first truck to be built specifically for the purpose of monster truck stunts and racing.

Since then, Bigfoot has become a legend in the industry and is still used for events around the world.

When it comes to what type of vehicle Bigfoot Monster Truck is, there is some debate. While most people agree that it is a Ford F-Series pickup truck, some believe that it is actually a Chevy.

The claim that Bigfoot Monster Truck is a Chevy stems from its unique body style and engine size. Its body style has more in common with a Chevrolet Silverado than an F-Series pickup truck, and its engine size (7.3L V8) is also closer to a Chevy than a Ford. However, when looking at the frame, suspension and other components, it’s clear that Bigfoot Monster Truck was built on an F-Series chassis.

In addition to its unique body style and engine size, Bigfoot Monster Truck also has some distinct features that set it apart from other trucks on the market. It has wider tires than normal trucks, which allow it to make larger jumps while still maintaining stability. It also has a high ground clearance which allows it to drive over obstacles more easily.

Conclusion:

While there may be some similarities between Bigfoot Monster Truck and a Chevy Silverado, its frame, suspension and other components make it clear that the truck was built on an F-Series chassis. As such, we can safely say that Bigfoot Monster Truck is not a Chevy but rather an F-Series pickup truck.
