Is There a Hellcat Pickup Truck?

A Hellcat Pickup Truck is a concept that has been around for some time now. It is a vehicle with an incredibly powerful engine, designed to be driven hard and fast.

It has been described as “the ultimate street machine”, and fans of the concept have been eagerly awaiting its arrival. So, is there a Hellcat Pickup Truck on the market?

The answer is yes and no. While there are no production models of the Hellcat pickup truck available yet, there have been several prototype builds of the vehicle created over the years.

For example, in 2017, Dodge unveiled a prototype of their own version of the Hellcat pickup truck at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas. This prototype featured a 707-horsepower supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine, an eight-speed automatic transmission, and 20-inch wheels with Brembo brakes.

However, despite these impressive specifications and features, Dodge ultimately decided not to put this vehicle into production due to concerns about its performance capabilities in adverse weather conditions and its potential for high operating costs. Nevertheless, this prototype served as inspiration for other aftermarket modifications to existing pickup trucks that have sought to replicate or exceed the same level of performance offered by Dodge’s original design.

One such example is a company called Hennessey Performance Engineering (HPE). HPE has developed their own version of the Hellcat pickup truck called the “Velociraptor 6×6” which features an upgraded 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine that produces 705 horsepower and 875 lb-ft of torque. This vehicle also comes equipped with 22-inch wheels with off-road tires and heavy duty suspension components as well as additional features such as LED lighting packages and custom graphics packages.

Conclusion:

So while there is no official production model of a Hellcat Pickup Truck available yet, many aftermarket modifications have been created over the years that seek to replicate or exceed its performance capabilities. As such, fans who are interested in owning their own Hellcat Pickup Truck may be able to find one through these aftermarket modifications.
