Who Made the Movie Monster Truck?

The movie Monster Truck was released in 2016 and directed by the first-time director Chris Wedge. The movie follows the story of a 18-year-old boy named Tripp who discovers a strange, abandoned truck in a junkyard. After tinkering with it and bringing it back to life, Tripp discovers that the truck is actually an alien creature called Creech, and they form an unlikely friendship.

The film stars Lucas Till as Tripp, Jane Levy as his love interest Meredith and Rob Lowe as the villainous businessman who wants to capture Creech for his own plans. The rest of the cast includes Barry Pepper, Thomas Lennon, Danny Glover, Amy Ryan and Frank Whaley.

Monster Truck was produced by Paramount Pictures in association with Nickelodeon Movies, Disruption Entertainment and Bluegrass Films. The special effects team created some amazing visuals for this movie by using a combination of CGI, practical effects and motion capture technology. The soundtrack features a variety of different styles including rock music from bands such as The Black Keys, as well as classic songs from artists like Johnny Cash.

Monster Truck received mixed reviews from critics but did very well at the box office grossing over $122 million worldwide making it one of the highest grossing films of 2016.
