Monster Truck is a Canadian rock band from Hamilton, Ontario. The band consists of lead singer and guitarist Jon Harvey, guitarist Jeremy Widerman, bassist Brandon Bliss and drummer Steve Kiely.

The band first gained recognition with their 2012 debut album “Furiosity”, which spawned several singles including “Sweet Mountain River” and “Seven Seas Blues”. Since then they have released two more studio albums (2014’s “Sittin’ Heavy” and 2016’s “Sledgehammer”) as well as two live albums (2013’s “Live at the Phoenix” and 2018’s “True Rockers”). Throughout their career they have built a strong fanbase throughout Canada and the United States with their soulful, blues-inspired sound.

Monster Truck has toured extensively across North America with acts such as Alice in Chains, Halestorm, Danko Jones and Black Stone Cherry. In 2017 they had the honour of opening for Guns N’ Roses on the Not In This Lifetime..Tour in Toronto alongside Our Lady Peace and Billy Talent. They have also performed at some of the biggest music festivals in the world including Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, Lollapalooza, Download Festival and Graspop Metal Meeting.

The band has received many accolades for their work including a 2014 Juno Award nomination for Breakthrough Group of the Year. They have also been featured in several films such as ‘Goon: Last of the Enforcers’, ‘Halo 5: Guardians’ and ‘Need For Speed’.

Monster Truck continues to tour regularly despite lineup changes over recent years due to members pursuing other projects. Their most recent tour was in 2019 where they opened for ZZ Top on their North American tour dates.

Despite lineup changes Monster Truck is still an active band who continue to tour regularly across North America. The band has built a strong fanbase over their decade long career due to their unique blend of blues-influenced rock music.
